Tayu Dolls

Hi everyone haven't posted for a while, has anyone had any experience with Tayu silicone dolls, there quite expensive, apart from being lightweight and stunning to look at especially the one called Ivy are they worth the money, just over £3000 with silicone lovers, although you do get inplanted eyebrows eyelashes and pubic hair with that
Been getting on well with my Lushdoll and she's staying, but she is a bit heavy to take up or down stairs safely so she is permanantly upstairs, would fancy a lighter one to move safely up and downstairs

Why not get a second Lush that's permanently downstairs? Make her a clone of the other and you've got the same effect except no lugging up and down the stairs.

There’s quite a lot of info on TDF about Tayu, they do seem good overall but some owners report problems with fragility. I am tempted but as you say it’s an investment when you can buy 2 cheaper dolls for the same cost!

I have the 148D and 158D Tayu models.

They are arguably the best dolls you can get right now. They are primarily designed for bedroom fun, the fact that they also look stunning is the cherry on top. They are also at the forefront of lightweight dolls with their silicone based soft foam cores. Usually the problem with cores, especially the soft kind, is the adherence of the silicone layer to the core itself, where you can have some delamination issues like on my D4E 160 silicone (which was made in the same factory than SM). Tayu has none of those issues. Speaking of SM, they also have some very lightweight dolls. While I have felt a couple inn real life (and they are soft), I don't know enough about them to comment.

I'm a big fan of Tayu but they are very expensive. There are other brands that are creeping awfully close to Tayu quality at less than half the price. Notably Angel Kiss and Zelex SLE line. The SLEs have a harder core and the thighs are much harder than Tayu. My new favorite brand is Angel Kiss where they offer hard hands and feet, moving jaw on select heads, implanted brows and lashes (upper and lower, where Tayu only do lower), and the silicone is SOFT. It's so soft, in fact, that I'm weary of leaving clothes that are too tight, or putting too much pressure while handling in fear of leaving indentation marks. So not a beginner doll, but neither is Tayu.

I hope this clarifies some questions you may have had and makes your purchasing decision somewhat easier (or harder LOL).

With that said, here are some photos.

thanks for the indepth reply, think i will be ordering the 158C+ Riley tomorrow, the face and body are stunning also like the idea of the new no gape feature and extra soft action area and like the idea of lighter and more movable, going take a chance and go for the none insert option as the videos ive seen on the Doll Foram show her to be very flexable in the action area and don't like the look of the inserts thay use

Ooooh the 158C+ is a fantastic model. Very small waist though compared to the height though.

I highly recommend you go with all soft parts, the paid soft butt option is worth it in my opinion. Having said that, you'll want to be careful sitting her on hard surfaces. For longer term storage I've left both of mine in bed for weeks with no deformation issues (although my mattress is pretty soft). I'd say go for hardened hands and feet, that will somewhat prevent finger pokes and damage to the feet. I'm also a big fan of the moving jaw as they can be great for photography purposes. Built in vagina 100%!

Congrats on your future purchase!

Well i made the purchase today, went with the company i got my first doll with Silicone Lovers as that went very smoothly, as an added bonus i asked for a price match to a swedish company called Docklandet who were selling it a bit cheaper and Silicone Lovers came up trumps and i got £179 off, if you don't ask you don't get is my motto, wanted to get in before the Chinese new as thats the only thing that slowed the first one down a bit.
Have noticed from some of the videos ive seen on this model the 158c+ Riley that it looks like she has teeth and some sort of movable jaw like the Zelex dolls is that correct

Yes, IF you got the moving jaw option.

Production lead time with Tayu is usually a month to a month and a half before they ship her out.
